We are looking for hardworking, self-motivated, and enthusiastic people to join our expanding team in our Aylesbury headquarters and are currently welcoming applications for a Project Co-ordinator to provide support to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced person to join our dynamic, hardworking, and friendly team. You will be responsible for ensuring customer requirements are understood, updated in ERP/CRM and communicated internally. Monitor project progress to ensure costs are in line with quotation and secure additional charges for extras were applicable. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships. This role involves travelling and nights away.
You will ensure all effort is put into delivering exceptional customer service for the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present our services.
• Project co-ordination.
• Project administration.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Sales order processing.
• Customer relationship management.
• Account management – follow ups to ensure satisfaction.
• Updating contact details on customer database.
• Managing enquiries/quotes.
• Enquiry logging and entry onto CRM software
• Preparation and following up of quotations.
• Arranging and attending site visits/surveys.
• Preparing information for meetings to discuss input/output/customer quotations.
Special Requirements/Ideal candidate
• Previous experience in engineering, project management or logistics roles (essential).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills (essential).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (essential).
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Having excellent business acumen and commercial awareness.
• Familiarity with industry is a positive.
• Excellent customer facing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and prioritise.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel.
Job details
• Working hours Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Fridays 8am-4pm.
• Starting basic salary £35k/year.
