Our customer had previously used our cross-docking service, so they put the receiving company in touch with Flegg, and a solution was proposed. This involved several trailers diverting to our Aylesbury warehouse. We provided lifting crew and equipment to offload the machines and move them into our secure storage, ahead of onward delivery to the site.

Additionally, Flegg provided specialist transport to move the machine from our warehouse to the receiving site in conjunction with the original scope for our customer – to offload, move it into the factory, and assist with the assembly.

The Flegg sales team worked with the customer and the receiving company to provide clear pricing and terms and to ensure all parties were aligned and regularly updated throughout the process.

All vehicles, crew, and lifting equipment required were supplied from our own in-house team and fleet. Our Landoll PT40 was supplied on-site to offload and assist with the assembly works.

We received the machines over two days and kept them in our secure storage for approximately 12 weeks.

The delivery to the site was managed to ensure components arrived in sequence, maintaining an efficient installation and reducing disruption on site.

Our regular customer was delighted that their client had a safe place to keep their new asset.

The receiving client was so happy with the service provided by Flegg that they engaged us directly for further support with site lifting works.
