Installation of First-Ever Steam Generating Heat Pump for Brewery
The Challenge
As innovation continues to grow, more and more businesses seek to find a safe and reliable solution to handle and transport their precious and highly valuable machinery and equipment.
For Futraheat, this was their first steam-generating, high temperature heat pump set to be delivered to Hepworth Brewery in Sussex, so understandably the stakes were high and they wanted to ensure the transport and delivery was seamless from start to finish.
The Solution
After spending time liaising with Futraheat , the Flegg sales team partnered with our technical support team to provide the best possible solution in relocating the heat pump.
We carried out a ‘desktop survey’ to make sure the access was suitable at both the collection and delivery site and with the information provided by the customer, we were able to determine the correct HIAB vehicle and spreader beam to ensure a safe lift.
Due to the incredibly unique nature of the machinery and its high value, the Futraheat team was assured that their equipment was in safe hands due to Flegg increasing our transit liability insurance for this project to provide extra peace of mind.
The Result
The collection, transport and delivery went without a hitch.
The crew arrived onsite in the morning to collect the heat pump, using our M44 HIAB lorry and liaised with the customer to work out the best timing for the delivery site to minimise disruption at their busy brewery.
Client Testimonial
